Charlotte Evans LHCEA; RSHom
Charlotte brings to the clinic a lifelong passion for natural medicine with almost 10 years experience working in this field.
Her zeal for healthy living led her to becoming a co–op member of the Tree House restaurant – a busy vegetarian restaurant in the city centre. The ethos of the Tree House focussed primarily on providing nutritious food with an emphasis on specific dietary requirements ranging from dairy, yeast and gluten intolerances and nut allergies to more unusual allergies including tomato, garlic and olive oil.
Throughout the years spent both running the restaurant and interacting with customers, Charlotte came to understand to a greater depth just how health can be so affected by what is put into our bodies in both a negative and positive manner. After several happy years at the Treehouse, Charlotte decided to leave the restaurant to become the manager of Culpeper the herbalists.
In this way she was able to use her knowledge of herbs to help and advise people with their health issues.
Five years ago Charlotte left Culpeper to become part of the highly trained specialist team at The Natural Food Store.
Established for over 30 years The Natural Food Store specialises in providing the highest quality of advice and customer care with members of staff being at the forefront of professional training within the health food industry.
Due to this high level of training the store has won many awards over the years.
Her interest in complementary medicine eventually led Charlotte to train as a Homeopath at The Homeopathic College of East Anglia from whom she obtained her licence to practice (LHCEA).
She now runs a busy practice at The Complementary Health Care Clinic in the heart of Norwich and is a registered member of the Society of Homeopaths (RSHom) – the UK’s leading registering body for professional homeopaths.
Charlotte has also extensively studied other areas of complementary medicine and has completed many courses; Therapeutic use of Essential Oils, Nutritional Supplementation and Phytotherapy being a few among them. Charlotte utilises all of her training to combine Homeopathic treatment with dietary and lifestyle advice where applicable to further aid healing and improve health.
Whilst she confidently treats a vast range of ailments for all ages, from infancy to the elderly, her area of special interest is in pregnancy and childbirth. This interest has led her to be fortunate enough to attend births and be in the privileged position of supporting women through labour with the use of homeopathic remedies.
