She has also extensively studied other areas of complementary medicine and has completed many courses; Therapeutic Use of Essential Oils, Nutritional Supplementation and Phytotherapy being a few among them. She will often use all of her training to Combine Homeopathic treatment with dietary and lifestyle advice to further aid healing and improve health and wellbeing.

She is also a qualified Natural Family Planning Teacher and a full member of the Natural Family Planning Teachers Association. Although Charlotte is experienced at treating all manner of ailments and is delighted to do so, her main area of focus is fertility, pregnancy and childbirth.
Fertility
Charlotte currently has a 75% success rate at helping couples achieve pregnancy, using her own Optimum Fertility programme. This programme involves:
- Full medical case history of both partners
- In depth homeopathic treatment to remove any potential blockages and encourage optimum fertility
- Tests to determine heavy metal and toxin influences within the body and subsequent treatment to remove them
- 120 day cleanse and balance programme which involves dietary and lifestyle recommendations for both partners, looking at detrimental influences incurred on a day to day basis and how to overcome them
- Teaching the couple to use Natural Family Planning to recognise the most fertile stage of a woman’s cycle and using the charts as a tool to observe the hormones at play. The charts can reveal all manner of issues from LUF syndrome to short luteal phases, late ovulation and so on
- The use of phytotherapy to help cleanse, balance hormones and aid overall health of both partners.
Pregnancy
Homeopathy comes into its own at this special time. With so many restrictions on what is safe to use to treat ailments during this period, professional homeopathic treatment may provide a gentle, safe and side effect free solution to a whole range of ailments that crop up. From mild morning sickness to urinary problems, heart burn to haemorrhoids, restless legs to mood swings, stretch marks and everything in between. With several years experience treating a whole range of pregnancy symptoms, Charlotte is confident at approaching even the most challenging complaints.
In addition she also offers a programme of specific remedies which begins at the end of the 1st trimester and continues through gestation to aid a happy, healthy pregnancy for both mum and baby, alongside dietary and lifestyle advice.
Finally whether you are anxious about labour or have had a previously traumatic birth experience, homeopathic treatment can be fantastic at addressing these issues. Charlotte has much experience in this field and is confident about helping women to approach birth with a calm, positive (and even excited!) state of mind.
Childbirth Support
Many mothers choose to use homeopathic remedies during labour, to assist birth and help with pain relief.
There are remedies that appear to be effective in dealing with possible problems during childbirth such as fear, panic and anxiety, a cervix which is slow to dilate, excessive bleeding, retained placenta and exhaustion. Charlotte can advise you on the best remedies to use during each stage of labour and help you to prepare your own, bespoke homeopathic birthing kit.
Some couples prefer to have their homeopath with them to advise with remedies and offer additional birth support. Having attended many births in this capacity and being actively involved with the Norwich Birth Group, Charlotte is only too happy to add this to her list of services. In fact she regards it as an honour.
After the birth there are some excellent remedies which may speed up healing and recovery, not just physically but also mentally and emotionally. Remedies to help with the dramatic life change a baby can bring, potential shock following the birth, mental/emotional exhaustion and any post- natal ‘blues’ which may occur.
Many breast feeding issues may also be helped, from sore/cracked nipples and mastitis to a slow milk supply and oral thrush. Again Charlotte has years of experience treating such complaints, as well as supporting the new mother to adjust to the changes in herself and her body.
Natural Family Planning: For Natural Birth Control or Fertility Support
Charlotte Evans is also a Natural Family Planning teacher and Fertility Awareness Coach. Natural Family Planning (NFP) is a safe, effective, environmentally friendly and side-effect free method of both planning and avoiding pregnancy.
A common misconception about Natural Family Planning is that it is the same as the ‘rhythm’ or ‘calendar’ method. It is not. NFP is highly reliable and its success rate can be compared favourably to that of the Pill and condoms. Studies have shown that when taught professionally and practiced properly, the method has a very high success rate (98.2%) for those avoiding pregnancy. The success rate of the Oral Contraceptive Pill is 95-99% and for condoms it is 98.1%.
NFP methods are evidence-based and the result of years of scientific research to refine certain techniques into an effective method of fertility control. Once taught this method can be used effectively for the rest of a woman’s fertile life.
