Reiki (pronounced Ray-Key) is Japanese for "Universal Energy" and works on all levels of one's being - Physical, Emotional, Mental and Spiritual - whilst supporting the Immune system and bringing a sense of balance and harmony to the body.
Level I "Shoden" Cost £150
First Degree Initiation into The Usui System, honouring the spiritual Lineage of Usui, Hayashi, Takata and Furumoto with Tripuri Dunne - MiCCH. Reiki Master.
Students attending a First Degree Reiki course will be initiated by the Reiki Master, who will also teach a sequence of hand positions for self-treatment and the treating of others.
The focus of the course will be the practical integration of Reiki into everyday life, for self-healing and also for use with friends and family. There will be opportunities to discuss using Reiki with Children, as well as with plants and Animals.
As we do not have long breaks during the course, please make sure you have something to eat in the morning ... there will be natural breaks during the initiations which are on an individual basis. Also it is a good idea to wear comfortable loose fitting clothes and a light warm sweater. Drinks are provided and a few light snacks, please feel free to bring your own.
The course runs over two to three days, during that period Students will receive the 4 initiations into Reiki Usui Shiki Ryoho ... The Usui System of Natural Healing. It is advisable before and during a Reiki course to avoid Coffee, Alcohol and stimulants including Tobacco. There will be 10 - 12 hours tuition according to the size of the group ... maximum 10 students.
Day One: Students will receive 2 initiations, learn about the history of Reiki, the Reiki principles, practice self-treatment and learn about giving treatments with the emphasis on good practice and ethics as well as hand positions on the front of the body. We will finish with a question and answer session.
Day Two: Students receive 2 initiations and learn about different type of physical and emotional reactions one might expect after a Reiki treatment ... we discuss Bach Flowers and other forms of energy medicine combined with Reiki as an effective form of treatment ... Students will have the opportunity to practice with each other ... We will also discuss treating children /animals / plants and using Reiki in First Aid situations. At the end of the course you will receive a certificate.

Level II "Okuden" Cost £330
Second Degree Initiation is for those who wish to practice Reiki at a deeper level.
The focus of the course will be on meditation and distance healing.
Classes are held in small groups, usually three to four pupils.
